I’ve trained with Joey on and off for over 3 years! He was the first friendly face I met when I entered the gym for the first time. When I started training with him I was in a pretty unhealthy place (mentally and physically). He was extremely patient given I was new to most things and was able to push me when I needed to be pushed. He took time to understand what my barriers were and helped me overcome them and also held me accountable. He helped me identify goals both fitness related as well as on a personal level. He has encouraged me and has been supportive along the way, and overall helped me become a better person. He was truly instrumental in me making positive lifestyle changes and continues to inspire me to always work on improving myself. I went from being a size 12 to a 4, having a much healthier mindset, and a positive outlook on life.
Joey, what can I say about this guy?
Don’t do it. Just kidding haha. I’ve trained with Joey on and off over the last 2 years. He’s an amazing trainer that makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t take himself too seriously like some bro type muscle heads. That however doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He is kind, intelligent, and and makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. He thinks of creative solutions to help you overcome your problems and is flexible with scheduling. All that aside, he’s a profoundly good hearted person. This guy is trying to change the world for the better in so many ways, sometimes I wonder how he keeps it all together. If you’re on the fence about training with him, stop thinking about it, and make the commitment. I did, and I can tell you I have absolutely no regrets.
